Designed for sewer/storm drain diversion control, the RainSwitch will detect 1/10th on an inch of rainfall, which assures the initial run-off will flow to the sewer system. This first run-off is typically high in contaminants and bacteria and therefore needs to flow to the sewer system for proper treatment. Once the first 1/10th of an inch has fallen, the RainSwitch will trip a relay which is connected to a diversion system, directing the subsequent run off to the storm drain.
The RainSwitch Control System is composed of the RainSwitch, a Pilot Station, and typically a Butterfly Valve.
Other uses include Irrigation Control, Retractable Roof Control, Rainwater Capture/Collection Systems, and Cistern Control.
The RainSwitch detects 1/10th of an inch of rainfall and produces a discrete output via our Pilot Station to actuate a diversion valve or to control a sump pump in a clarifier. Click below for more info...
Used in conjunction with the RainSwitch to indicate status, control, and reset the system after the rain event has concluded. Available in both Manual and Automatic Reset versions to meet various agency requirements. Click below for more info...
